Hello! If you hadn't guessed already, my name is Jennie. I'm 36, temporarily living in Sacramento, California (but always a deep-north Midwestern hick at heart), married to Darin, and slave to three cats.

Most days you'll find me waiting for our bean to arrive walking around with our bean, reading dreaming of books and crafting and cooking, waiting for the next big blockbuster (to release on DVD), or planning our next great letterboxing adventure.

I began this site in 1999 as a way to communicate with far-flung friends and family. It's been through a dozen permutations and hours of streaming profanity to get to what you're looking at today.
